I finally had an opportunity to relax this weekend and have some “Me-Time.” We all need some me-time that’s not being selfish, actually if you are always giving of yourself and puring out you’ll dry out if you don’t get a re-fill and that’s being selfish. Sometimes you never really know how tired you are until you finally get some rest. This weekend I got my “chill-on.” I got a massage, went to the pool, did some shopping, I even rented a movie from redbox. Have you ever heard of The Time Traveler’s Wife? The film is based on an acclaimed best selling navel by Audrey Niffenegger. Starring Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana it was time well spent.
The Time Traveler’s Wife is not what I expected. This movie is kind of hard to explain with out give away all of the good parts. Henry, the main character of the film, is a time traveler which always sounds like something that is so cool to be able to do. But what if you can’t control when you leave and when you come? That could create some issues. This film is about love, family being there for on another.
The Time Traveler’s Wife makes you look at time from a totally different perspective. I went to the redbox to rent this movie and I would definitely watch it again. In fact, I might just buy it. The Time Traver’s Wife is an inspiring film, the concept was provocative and you’ll find yourself thinking about this film well after the movie is over.
