Abberly Place Apartment Homes - Biographies

Lance has been working for HH Hunt in property management for over nine years and has been managing Abberly Place for the last six. Lance was just awarded 2010’s Property Manager of the Year at HH Hunt’s Awards Banquet. He has won this coveted award twice before in 2006 and 2008. Lance is dedicated in making Abberly Place the best it can be. A graduate of Barton College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and minor in Business Administration, Lance is passionate about making Abberly Place the best community to call home. Lance is a native of Durham, NC but is proud to be a resident of Abberly Place and Garner. Lance's favorite thing about his job is providing our residents the best customer service a person can get and motivating and training his team to be the best they can be. Lance also feels extremely honored to manage one of HH Hunt's largest and nicest communities. When not at work, Lance's true passion is traveling, spending time with loved ones and friends and lets not forget his BIG Siamese cat, Sushi..

Kris was born and raised in North Carolina and has lived in Wake County for about 17 years. She has an adorable seven year old son, who keeps her busy when she is not doing 10 different things at work. She has been with Abberly Place for 7 years and in the Property Management industry for 11 years. She worked in Retail Management and is so glad that she made the change over to this industry. Working at Abberly Place, for her, has been the most rewarding career choice for a number of reasons. She loves the satisfaction she gets when she helps a resident with a problem or hears a resident say how much they love living at Abberly. Her philosophy is, "when someone walks out the door with a smile on their face", she has accomplished her main goal for the day. She has received our company awards for Excellence in Resident Services and a two time Assistant Property Manager of the Year for HH Hunt Property Management for 2007 and 2009.

Heather Clark is currently working on her 8th year with HH Hunt/Abberly Place Apartment Homes. She got her start with the construction division of our company as a Field Office Administrator where she played a major part of the beautiful homes provided to our residents today. As development came to an end and her skills were obvious, she was asked to join the property management team where she now holds the title of Account Administrator. As the Account Administrator of Abberly Place Apartment homes she has proudly earned awards in 2005 and 2007 as Account Professional of the Year. She continues to maintain the accounting system that aids that helps keep Abberly Place running smoothly and residents happy. Although she is behind the scene employee that mist have never met she is always available to residents whether it is financial or just an ear to lend.

Cassandra is a native of Kenosha, WI who moved to Charlotte, NC to attend college. After several moves within the state she settled in Garner three years ago. Prior to starting her career in Property Management, Cassandra was working in Retail Management. She is very happy with her transition into her new career. At this year's HH Hunt Awards Banquet, Cassandra won the hugely coveted Leasing Consultant of the Year award. Cassandra has been in the leasing industry for almost 3 years and says the most rewarding part of her job is meeting so many residents and helping to make living at the Abberly Place a positive experience. In her spare time, Cassandra enjoys working out, playing sports, and mountain biking.

Brandie is a southern girl that grew up in Durham NC. She has been working at Abberly Place for almost 3 years now. She not only enjoys working in the community, but she also enjoys calling it home. Brandie was married over a year ago to her wonderful husband Jeremy. She also has a beautiful step-daughter Audrianna, and a Boxer named Yaley. Brandie loves helping current residents with any problems that they may have. She loves that the community is like one big family.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends. She and her family are huge Duke Blue Devil fans so they are very happy after winning a Nation Championship last season. Brandie will always have a smile on her face and an optimistic attitude. If you ever have any questions, you can always fell free ask her!

Lauren is a native from West Point, a small town on the Chattahoochee River that separates Alabama and Georgia. She graduated from Garner Senior High School and went back south for college. Soon after having her daughter Ava, Lauren returned to North Carolina to be closer to her family. Lauren believes that motherhood has been the best and most rewarding thing in her life. Lauren has been with Abberly Place for a little over three years and takes pride in helping folks find their perfect apartment to call home! Lauren is the 2009 Leasing Consultant of the Year with HH Hunt Property Management. As a resident also at Abberly Place, she sees the community and its residents more as home and family. She enjoys building relationships with our residents and you can always expect a warm smile when you are in the office. When Lauren's not working she enjoys cook outs with her family and closest friends, taking road trips and watching Alabama football, "Roll Tide"!

Rick has been in the maintenance field for more than 17 years and we are so pleased that he has accepted the promotion to Service Manager at Abberly Place. He brings years of experience, management and knowledge to the service team. He also has his Universal CFC Certifications (the necessary knowledge to work on and repair HVAC systems) and also holds his National Certified Pool Operator Certifications and his Wake County Pool Operators Certification. Rick celebrated over 31 years of wedding bliss this past February. He has three children and six grandchildren. Rick's favorite thing about his job is making the residents happy.

Eric has been in the apartment service industry for a few years now. Prior to starting his career in Property Management, Eric was in the Air Force for four years and served in Phoenix, Arizona. While in the Air Force, Eric worked on the electrical and maintenance aspects of the F-15. He prides himself in getting his job done correctly and promptly the first time. His certifications include; Universal CFC, holds the certifications as a Certified Pool Operator, and Wake County Pool Operator. In his spare time Eric enjoys spending time with his family. He loves watching sports, N.C. State and the Pittsburg Steelers are his favorite teams!

Robyn has been in the maintenance field for many years, and we are happy that she has chosen to be at Abberly Place for the last four. Robyn brings with her a wealth of knowledge holding several certifications such as Nationally Certified Pool Operator, CFC I & II certifications and Wake County Certified Pool Operator. When not at work, she spends the majority of her time with her amazing family. She prides herself on maintaining a positive and strong work ethic. You can always count on a friendly wave as she drives by on her golf cart. So don't hesitate to wave back. Happiness breeds happiness. If you haven't seen Robyn perform at one of our resident parties or at Abberly Idol, you are missing out on hearing her beautiful voice.

Larry has been working with apartment communities for the last seven years delivering appliances to residents with the highest level of customer service. He joined the staff of Abberly Place bringing years of experience in appliance repair. He strives to keep Abberly Place beautiful and making sure that the residents needs are being met. This year at HH Hunt's Awards Banquet, Larry was awarded the Groundskeeper of the Year Award. For everyone that knows Larry, this is an award that he definitely deserved. Larry has recently completed his exam and now holds the certification as National Certified Pool Operator. Larry continues to take more classes and become more diversely trained in the multifamily industry. In his personal life, Larry just got married to his beautiful wife, Asiaa and looks forward to a life of happiness and bliss.

After serving in the Navy as an Operations Specialist, Travis went on to get his Black Belt from White Tiger in 2006. He enjoys continuing education has completed his certifications as a National Certified Pool Operator, CFC I & II certification and advanced HVAC training. He is a graduate of the School of Communications Arts in Raleigh. On his off time Travis enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 year old daughter. He also raises money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and appears at events as a Star Wars character. He really enjoys bringing his service experience to Abberly Place.

Chris has over thirty years experience in the home construction and maintenance field, with many of those years spent as a custom home builder and remodeler. Chris holds a myriad of different professional certifications such as Certified Pool Operator, Wake County Certified Pool Operator, and an E.P.A. Certified HVAC Technician. On top of all his professional certifications, Chris also holds a degree in pre-pharmacy, and hopes to one day receive a Pharm-D degree, being a pharmacist. When not at work, Chris enjoys NASCAR and making things in his wood shop. Chris has three children, Savanah-18, Travis-16 and Tanner-13 that all live in Michigan. Chris loves having them here to enjoy our beautiful North Carolina weather.

Courtney was born and raised in North Carolina. She grew up in Garner, graduating from North Garner Middle School and Middle Creek High School. As a recent graduate from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, she has a degree in Political Science with a concentration in Public Administration. Courtney has had a great year, she graduated college a semester early, got engaged to her fiancé CJ for whom she has been dating for the last 6 years in March, they both started their new careers this winter and are busy planning their wedding for this coming September. Courtney is very excited to start her career in property management. She is eager to help people find a new home and making it the most enjoyable experience.
