Community Bulletin Board

We do have an area on our website where you can list items you want to sell. If you look under resources on AbberlyPlace.com, you will see a drop down screen that will say Community Bulletin Board. From here you can list items that you are wanting to selling (including us…we have some fantastic pieces that we have removed from our models that are practically brand new).

There is a place where you can post job opportunities, events through the area, etc. It is free and we will publicize the items for you. Take advantage of this service we offer. We want to make sure that we are constantly working on things that will make life easier for you. If you have any suggestions, feel free to let us know.

Abberly Place Apartments January 2015 Newsletter

Happy New Year

2014 is officially over and we hope that you all brought in 2015 with a bang!! As the New Year begins, this means that many of us will be making New Years Resolutions. This can include anything from weight loss, saving money, spending more time with family, breaking a bad habit or addiction, and many more things. Whatever you choose as your New Years Resolution, we wish you luck! We know that you can do it. It is a fresh start to a new year and with hard work and determination, anything can happen!!

Holiday Décor

Thank you to all of the residents who made Abberly Place shine during the holidays! We love to see others celebrate in their own special way.

However, now that the New Year is among us, we ask that you please remove any holiday decorations and lights from your patio and front door areas.

Of course we do not mind if you keep your winter wreaths up and your normal décor year round. We enjoy you all making your home unique. Thanks again from your Abberly Staff.

Tree Disposal

If you are one of the residents that prefers a live tree for the holiday, we would like to remind you to dispose of it properly. We will have an area beside the exterior wall of the compactor areas.

If you will just pile the trees there, our landscaping company will be taking them away for us. Please do not place them inside the compactor or in the recycling areas. Thank you.

Let’s Think Positive

This year, look at life with a smile on your face and you’ll be amazed at the results! Positive thinking is this powerful:

~Increases your life span ~Lessens depression and stress ~Helps you keep going during hard times How to do it ~Smile! Look at life with positivity and good humor.
~Breathe. If you feel flustered, try deep breathing to calm down. ~Say “yes”. Use positive language. Try changing “can’t” to “can” or “no” to “yes”.

Rent vs. Buying

In todays economy, with unpredictable lay offs and relocations, people are choosing to rent housing versus buying a home. Renting offers short term obligation for those people who are uncertain what their financial standing will be in the near future. If your company decides to downsize or relocate, you will not be locked into a 30 year mortgage. Most apartment communities offer flexible lease terms and options to break a contract if something unfortunate, like a job loss, happens.

Also, with renting an apartment, you will get the convenience of onsite amenities and benefits such as fitness centers, swimming pools, business centers and 24 hour maintenance. You will never have to replace an appliance or do any home repairs. This saves time and money.

Tell Us How We Are Doing

As many of you know, we have become Survey Savvy. We have a survey that we send out to people who have recently moved into Abberly, moved out of Abberly, a Service Request Survey and a general Resident Survey.

We truly want to know what you think and how we are serving you. Our number one goal is always to achieve the highest level of Customer Service.

Without you, our customer, we have no purpose. Your input helps us improve in needed areas or gives us ideas of new things that we can do to enhance your living experience. Please take time to go to our Resident Survey Page, and tell us how we are doing. Thank you!!!

NFL Payoffs

It is that time of year again! We are sure that all the football fans can hardly wait for all of the upcoming games. We know that there are several Panther Fans in our area being that they are a North Carolina Team. They made it to the playoffs by the hair of their chiny chin chin this year.

They are actually the first team since The Seahawks in 2010 to head to the playoffs with a losing record. They will take on the Cardinals on January 3rd at 4:35. They will be playing at Bank of America Stadium. The playoffs should be very interesting this year. Who do you think will be matching up in the Super Bowl on February 1st?
